Modern viniculture and music production, are both organic and technical systems, always searching through creation and experimentation, to provide an end product that might just provoke, through the act of consumption, a singular human sensation of mind and body, of sensory emotions.
Both industries are changing, and suffer from the inherent difficulties of trying to market and distribute an intangible product within the constructs of a capitalist system. In wine and the other arts such as music and literature, many independent companies have been faced with problems brought about by mass marketing, and mass production. The collapse of traditional methods of material distribution calls for experimentation and alternative approaches to the distribution of the intangible, perhaps beginning with the grass roots, to bring back these emotions to those who still live by them.
